This Empty Vessel releases their debut single, “Valentine,” via Soundcrest Music Group on June 20. The emotionally charged track marks the band’s first official release and offers a glimpse into their upcoming full-length album NOD, due this fall.

“This song was one of the earliest written for NOD, and in a lot of ways, it opened the door for everything else that followed. It’s raw, a little messy, a little bruised—and we mean that in the best way possible.” said TEV’s J Booth. “Valentine” is about boundaries. About knowing when enough is enough. About picking up the pieces after someone else’s chaos and deciding you’re done playing that role.”

Featuring a vocal performance from Jennifer McLane, “Valentine” leans into moody textures and cinematic tension. The production group comprised of Gerald Josef, J Booth, and Wes Bishop—builds the track around guitars, drums, dark synths, and emotionally resonant lyrics.

This Empty Vessel will continue unveiling new music throughout the summer, with additional singles leading up to the release of NOD on September 26.
