Keeping up the intensity with a new release, This Empty Vessel drops “Sway”
Soundcrest Music Group is proud to announce the release of “Sway“, the third single from emerging alt-rock band This Empty Vessel. Out Friday, September 19, the track follows the band’s striking debut “Valentine” and the raw urgency of “Joey’s Getting Mad Again.”
With moody guitars, a flowing bassline, and Jennifer McLane’s haunting vocals, “Sway” captures the cinematic edge that defines the group’s forthcoming debut album, NOD. Written by Gerald Josef, J Booth, and Wes Bishop, the song reflects the band’s balance of intensity and vulnerability, circling around the refrain: “Sway on the wings of denial.”
“Sway shows a different side of This Empty Vessel,” said Michael Owunnah, VP of A&R at SMG. “It’s brooding, evocative, and layered — a clear marker of what’s to come on their debut album.”
